The Chutia individuals (additionally spelt as Sutiya;/ˈsʊðiːjɑː/) are an ethnic gathering beginning in the Indian territory of Assam. They are a piece of the Bodo-Kachari group.[6] The Chutia individuals through the Chutia tradition shaped their realm in the current Indian conditions of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh and ruled from 1187 to 1673.

They are an ethnic gathering of East Asian and South East Asian appearance and make one of the major and most punctual segment of the plain occupants of Assam to have relocated from Southern China transcendently from the current tibet and Sichuan alongside other bodo kachari bunches .
